Dance Adjudicator

Peta Markham-Ward’s years of dance and education experience as a performer,  teacher, mentor and choreographer has given her the tools to successfully adjudicate  eisteddfods, talent quests, pageants, performing arts competitions and educational  dance works including HSC.

She is competent in all styles of dance as well as other art forms such as vocal and  drama and is proud of her ability to provide both dancer/artist and the choreographers /teachers valuable feedback that can be utilised to enhance their overall performance  and  developing artistry. Peta is happy to provide written feedback in the format of the  typical eisteddfod report or verbal feedback given in talent quests and other major  competitions such as Rock Eisteddfod, Bring It On etc.

She has been adjudicating small and major competitions since 2007 and is proud of the reputation that she has developed - professional, friendly, punctual, offers valuable feedback, fast, competent and most importantly encouraging the students / performers to achieve their best. She has been marking HSC works since 2003 – which is a different type of adjudication but of equal merit.

Thank you so much for your professional and uplifting adjudication at East Coast Dance Championships! My daughter and all of her friends had such a great day and you gave so much valuable feedback throughout the day. You have a way of making the competitors feel so relaxed and it really helps them to dance to their potential. Many thanks again.

I have had the pleasure of working with Peta, adjudicating alongside her and being inspired by her wealth of knowledge, generous and positive feedback and her thoughtful critiques of dancers. I have also had students adjudicated by Peta in competitions and found her to be fair and unbiased.
